Are you Ready For Octoberfest?

Now that we are in October, it’s time for two things: Halloween and Octoberfest! The Old World Huntington Beach Restaurant continues to host the one of the OC’s biggest Octoberfest for over 40 years! This year’s festivities are expected to include German Food (voted “Best Bratwurst” in California), German Beers, German Bands, various competitions, and games among other things.

The Octoberfest takes place the final weekend of October (29th and 30th), so be sure to experience one of the best Octoberfest around. Here is a bit more info about the evening. Have fun, enjoy October and remember to drink responsibly.

Have Some Family Fun at the Fiestas Patrias in Santa Ana

Just because summer is over doesn’t mean the fun has to stop! This September join the City of Santa Ana for the 38th Annual Fiestas Patrias in Downtown Santa Ana. The festival features music, food, informational booths, and arts & crafts booths. The Fiestas Patrias culminates with a wonderful parade on Sunday, Sept. 11 starting at 4PM on Main Street.

If you are looking for a great family event to kick off the final few days of summer, the 38th Annual Fiestas Patrias is the event to attend. Have fun and enjoy the weekend. Here is a bit more info about the Fiesta.

Attend a Poetry Night in Santa Ana

If you are a lover of the spoken word, the city of Santa Ana hosts a Poetry Night in mid August for residents and people in the surrounding areas. The event features talented and passionate poets from the area as well as food and drinks for participants to enjoy. Celebrate Fourth of July In Santa Ana

The year is moving pretty fast. Its seems like spring just arrived yesterday and already we’ve blown past Mother’s Day, Memorial Day, Father’s Day and the beginning of summer. The next big holiday is the Fourth of July, which is right around the corner, and if you are starting to plan your holiday weekend, why not just stay in Santa Ana and enjoy your community?

This Fourth of July the Santa Ana Parks and Rec Department will be hosting a FREE holiday event at Centennial Park beginning at 4:30pm and ending with a spectacular firework show at 9pm on Monday, July 4th 2016. The event will feature games, food, live entertainment, a kids zone and much more. The event will take place at a park, so be sure to bring your own chairs, blankets and anything else you might need to stay comfortable.
