If you are a lover of the spoken word, the city of Santa Ana hosts a Poetry Night in mid August for residents and people in the surrounding areas. The event features talented and passionate poets from the area as well as food and drinks for participants to enjoy. If you are interested in attending or actually want to share your poetry, this is the event to attend. Contact the Santa Ana parks and recreation department for more information.
