Get In the Holiday Spirit With the Fourth Annual Plaza Navideña

I know, I know. Halloween just passed and we’re already focusing on Thanksgiving and Christmas, but the year moves fast and everyone better be ready. The holiday season officially kicks off in Santa Ana during the Fourth Annual Plaza Navideña event on November 19, 2016. The fun starts at the Downtown Plaza Calle Cuatro on Saturday, at the corner of Fourth and French Streets in Santa Ana.

The free event will take place from 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. and will include the City’s tree lighting ceremony, musical entertainment provided by mariachi bands and dancers. Refreshments will be provided along with piñatas and other fun activities. Since it is the holiday, even Santa Claus himself will make an appearance at the event.

The Navidena festivities will include a “Best Tamale in Town” contest, for all those wonderful cooks looking to share their tamales. Food will also be for sale as local food trucks will be in attendance.
