Where To Have St. Patrick’s Day Fun in Santa Ana

Making a memorable St. Patrick’s Day requires three things: a good bar, good food, and a great atmosphere. Luckily, Chapter One: The Modern Local in Santa Ana may be the perfect bar to celebrate the holiday. St. Paddy’s day has turned into one of the most fun U.S holidays even though it didn’t originate with us. We get to wear green, drink beer, and enjoy life with our Irish brethren–what’s not to love?

Chapter One has been called “wonderful” by reviewers and one person on Yelp says the bar has “Not only the chill but high end vibe, the drinks and food is just awesome. This is my favorite bar in Santa Ana” which is high praise for a place that is known for its nightlife like Santa Ana.  The bar opens at 11am everyday, so head over and celebrate St. Paddy’s when you are ready.

Enjoy a Breakfast at Cream Pan Or Mead’s in Santa Ana

Breakfast is said to be the most important meal of the day. In our minds it’s also the most fun meal– you can eat pancakes, waffles, french toast, or eggs prepared in a million different ways. You can’t forget about brunch either! For those people in Santa Ana looking for great breakfast spots, let’s take a quick look at two tasty locations.

Cream Pan

602 El Camino Real, Tustin, CA 92780
Phone number (714) 665-8239

Cream Pan currently has a 4.5 Star rating on Yelp and continues to be a great “hole in the wall” option for locals wanting great services and even better breakfast. The location serves traditional American food, so get your appetite ready for classic pancakes and more!

Mead’s Green Door Cafe

Visit the Hobbit (No, Not the Movie) this Valentine’s Day

If you are searching for a romantic evening this Valentine’s Day, which falls on a Tuesday by the way (February 14th, for those who are completely lost), try The Hobbit restaurants on Chapman Ave–no we are not talking about the movie, but if that is your idea of romance, by all means go ahead. The Hobbit is a fine dining French winery experience with the right vibe and atmosphere to make Valentine’s Day special.

The location is by reservation only (so call now), and will cost a pretty penny but the experience will be worth it. The menu has a host of wine options for every meal on the menu, but you might have to ask your host to pair something for you (unless you are an expert of course). Here is a bit more information about The Hobbit.

Where To Watch Super Bowl LI in Santa Ana

The Super Bowl is only a few days away and if you don’t have a place to watch it yet, now is the time to start finding one. Even if you are not a sports fan, the Super Bowl is one of the first “water cooler” moments of the year and you don’t want to be left out of the “talk” at work and on social media. The game will probably feature a viral commercial or two and maybe even a few entertainment moments on the field.

If you are planning on going to a bar to watch the festivities, try going to Original Mike’s in Santa Ana on Main st. The location is a restaurant, sports bar, and dance club that is always a good time. You can watch the game, each great food, enjoy a drink, and then dance the night away. Here are the details about Original Mike’s.
